When Taking a Picture Goes Wrong
I had a serious photogenic crisis today. I wanted a new picture to add to all my profiles. A simple task right? Wrong.
My first mistake was thinking my 17 year old son would take the picture, my second mistake was having me in it.
I don’t know when my Herculean figure left, but apparently it left no forwarding address. It took my youthful looks and cherub like demeanor with it….
The closest description I can come up with is a goofy vampire that eats only jelly beans. They made the experienced photographers at the Department of Motor Vehicles look like Rembrandt’s. No matter how hard I tried to look distinguished it only came out like a cross between Goofy and Donald Duck on Quaalude!
I have to try again, but this time it will be in full daylight! Let there be no doubt about my aversion to sunlight in the next trial and error photo session! Oh and hide the jelly beans too will you?

LOL, hope you were able to get a pic today. I’m tell ya, take it outside in natural light. Also, do the slightly sideways posing thing. It really does help, especially if you are wanting a somewhat professional pic.
