Char, it seems is the comic relief these days. She loves to sit outside with me in the morning and smell the world.

She also loves to roll onto her back, or would if she could only manage that particular maneuver! She lays down and trys rolling up on her back, non stop bicycling her hind legs, furiously clawing the air for traction to get upside down.

When she does, by a miracle manage to get inverted, it never lasts long. She seems to be bottom heavy and rolls right back on her side. At any rate, it is hilarious to watch a one hundred pound chow hound flailing away to get her stomach air born!

I am beginning to think the whole point of her exertion is that she thinks she could scratch with all four paws from that position….

Char has hound dog jowls that flop open when she gets semi- inverted that only add to the comic relief.

I have got to get pictures of her antics! Pictures are in fact worth a thousand words.
